Mike,
Are you fishing one of the lakes down there? Are you hooking up with a guide? Or are you fishing in Disney? I do both but if your staying inside Disney, fishing Disney is easier. Let us know how you make out and hve fun.

I took a trip down there a few years ago. My kids were young so we concentrated on getting all the park entertainments in for them. The last night we got notification that our flight was going to be changed from a mid morning flight to an early evening flight. The kids wanted to hang by the pool so my wife suggested that I should book a fishing trip. What a blast! I fished with one of the Disney guides, Dave Orsani, and we were on fish the whole 4 hours using every lure in the boat. We were having such a good time that Dave didn't have another trip booked, so we stayed out for 2 more hours free of charge.

I would certainly do that again in the furure, without a doubt!

I caught a nice 5 pounder there off the old abandon treasure island a few years ago. Lots of old timber and docks around the island. Definatly worth going there. My guide took me out an hour 1/2 early the both days I booked. I don't remember his name but he was a nice guy. We were fishing just in front of Magic Kingdom before it opened and there were a bunch of people watching me fish like it was a Bass Masters tournament. I would have loved to catch a big bass but I could only catch 1 -1 1/2 pounders. Have fun and post some pictures!

Nothing like fishing in front of the magic kingdon as the ferry full of people go by. It is a rush!
