Shad fishing on the CT river
« on: May 13, 2011, 10:38:32 AM »
Gonna try my luck at shad fishing on the CT river tommorrow near Springfield.

Never tried for shad before. Any pointers?

Maybe I'll get lucky and get a striper or 2 as well.

Hopefully some pics to post.

Hey Patrick,, let us know how you make out. Would love to see some pics :)

I've never fished for Shad before, so I can't offer any pointers.

So...... shad fishing was a bust  :(

Talking to a bunch of other boats and not many people catching anything.

It was good to get out on the water and the new (new to me) boat performed well.

At least I cought a sun burn  :P
