Pond Across from East Greenwich C.C./ Crystal Lake, Mapleville

Found another small pond here.  Small parking area on Division Road, Route 401.  About 3-4 acres...deepest depth about 6-7 feet, most of it about 3 feet.  A path rims the pond for shore casters.  Got my raft in there and got 3 LMs, largest about 1.5 lbs.  They took the buzzer/BPS STicko w/ paddletail.  I heard that the two ponds at the golf course also have some bass, but owners are not the "sharing" types.  Check out Google for East Greenwich C. C.  The golf course pond I'd like to check out is Crystal Lake C.C. in Mapleville.  They hold a charity ice fishing tournament each year, and somebody pulled a monster out of there in Jan. 2009.

that pond at crystal lake looks $. I heard its private and you arent really allowed to fish there....?

That's my understanding too.  They only allow the ice fishing tourney for a charity, as far as I know.

Growing up I used to fish Sucker Pond, "Crystal Lake" all the time, it was my favorite pond and
its right down the road from my house.
Then Judge Smails came to town and put up a golf course and there goes my fun. 
It only became Crystal Lake after the golf course moved there.
Terrific fishing there but unless your Judge Smails himself or one of his
buddies you can't fish there anymore.
