I have a friend who lives in the Philippines. He was born and raised there.

He has started his own video production business and has entered a contest being run by HP, to win a new laptop to help him create his videos.

In order to help him, I'd like to ask everyone to go to YouTube.com and watch his short video and vote for it.

As you watch the video, a little slide-up will show at the bottom of the video, with a Thumbs up and Thumbs down. Please click the Thumbs Up to vote for him. The voting ends tonight (Sunday) at 11 PM Eastern time.

Not really sure...I think he did that just to add character to the video.. to make it more unique.

Unless HP had a rule about it.
