Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, in partnership with U.S. Angler’s Choice, shall be holding its 3rd of 4 Yamamoto Open Series tournaments on the Hudson River out of Catskill, New York on June 22nd, 2003.

This fun and competitive team tournament is an open participation event with a twist. Only plastic baits manufactured by Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits are allowed, pointing to the popularity of its Senko and Hula Grub as the key baits for this region.  These baits have long been well received on the Hudson as reliable fish catchers. Catching fish shouldn’t be a challenge in this event!

Entry fee for the tournament is $150 per team. There are optional side pots if one wishes to capitalize on their winnings. Cash payout is phenomenal, with 100% paid to a field of 100 boats. First place is $5000! No memberships are required. Additional incentives from Daiichi hooks include $500 for highest placed team using Daiichi.  There shall be some free product given away as well.

Grand prizes of a Champion 206 Elite and 188 Elite shall be awarded at the championship event scheduled for later in the year.

For more information or to sign up, log onto www.acopens.com or call (800) 360-7112.  This event is brought to you by the Greene County Promotion Department, Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, Daiichi, Champion Boats, U.S. Angler’s Choice, and Mega Strike Scent. Additional sponsors include Inside Line Magazine, Bass West Magazine, Competitive Edge Fishing, and Acproshop.com.

Hope to see some of you there!
