Sounds like a great trail! Can you sign up at the ramp or do you need to pre-register? Sounds like something that I would be interested in- If the weather ever gets better AAAAghhh....

All you have to do is show up 1/2 hour before take of and pay. John use to charge a 10 dollar one time fee for paper work, but hasn' t said anything to anybody about it yet, and there is nothing on his tour schedule

Densik

You said, "if you fish two in the boat then it is $42 but the boat is only allowed the same five fish".  Just to make sure I understand this if it is a non-team tournament, but there are 2 people in a boat the charge is $42, but the boat can only keep five fish.  If this is the case does the pay out double for that boat (if they finish in the money) since they paid double the entry fee?

See you at Quaddick

Unfortunately it doesn' t pay double, but this tourny and the others like it allow for people that can' t find a partner to be able to compete. Yes it is a disadvantage to the people that are fishing together, but here is a small example of what could happen: Me and you are fishing together as individuals you are catching all the fish, and I only have a couple. Therefore we come up with a plan that if we start to pool fish then we can either make a better bag to win first (which will be what is going on under the original rules), or you start to give me fish so that we can win first and second. I understand what you are getting at and its a good point that goes threw all of are minds, but on the day that you can' t find a partner and you go into a team tourny with a 10 fish limit, unless you have some great luck, you probably won' t have a shot. The only thing I can tell you is that if it is a problem then just fish alone. I didn' t mean for that to sound rude, just tring to make sense out of it all. Good luck at the tourny if you go. I won' t be there I' ll be in Minn.

I understand totally.  I just have one last question, how many places do these tournaments pay to, and how much do they pay at each place?

Bass Wishes

PS- GOOD LUCK at Vermillion

John pays three places unless there is more then 25 boats then he will go to 4 places. The payouts depend on how many boats show up, but I think the brake down is somewhere around 50%, 30%, 20%. Thats just a ball park. On the five fish tourny it goes by the amount of people that show up and not the boat number.Thank you for the wish of luck.
